It’s 10 a.m. and the Warehouse is just beginning to open. The sun is finally figuring out that it’s spring,
and all around market street is starting to wake up. Soon, it will be clogged with cars on their way to one
event or another. The warehouse will be here, tucked behind a salon and a Tokyo Grill. If any woman
wanted to have a fun day complete with new clothes, hair, and lunch, they could do it all in our small
building of shops.

Our first customer just arrived, a woman with her family. She is, of course, immediately greeted by
around six thousand name brand pieces of clothing, all at least 70 percent off their original prices. Very
often when someone here makes a purchase, their total is lower than the original price of a single piece
of clothing they’re purchasing.

This new customer of ours will soon see exactly how wide our array of clothing is. From casual to
business and everything in-between, the Warehouse may not be your standard department store
stocked with expensive clothes and accompanied with elevator music, but that’s not what we aim to be.

Instead, we aim to provide the exact same level of customer service any leading department story may
have, but with a fraction of the pricing on the clothing. What isn’t to love about that business model?

Our music is better, too. We play a wide collection of songs from old classics to 80s rock songs to current
pop and everything in-between. It’s a bit eclectic, but then so are we. With our clothing ranging from
petites, to misses, to woman’s, including tops, pants, dresses, skirts, coats, suit jackets, and bathing
suits, there’s a little bit of everything here.

Now, closer to 10:30, our first customer is checking out and we have a few more customers. Some are
new; some come in nearly as often as I do.

fantastic clothing. New or old, we change clothing frequently so be sure to stop by to see if that perfect
piece of clothing you’ve been looking for is here at a great discount but without discounting the quality.

On my exhilarating first day at Main Street Closeouts (the new up and coming fashion wholesaler/retailer), I was expecting to come in and perform my very finest customer-client interactions.  I was surprised to say the least by the massive array of styles, brands, and low prices, so I couldn’t help myself but to indulge.  Main Street Closeouts is an overstock distributor who spends the week selling to wholesalers and purchasing more inventory for the public to shop on the weekends.

Main Street Closeouts customers have saved tens of thousands of dollars buying Designer Women’s Apparel at HUGE discounts. Main Street Closeouts is set up as a wholesale company inside of a warehouse, but the concept opening to the public is to answer the poor economic conditions by allowing Greensboro to purchase designer women’s apparel at rock bottom, wholesale pricing (70-80% off across the board). And since the company is set up to do wholesale business and we buy in such large volume, we have thousands of pieces of inventory from which to choose, and hundreds of which move through the warehouse each and every week. A customer is always assured to find new items each time they visit The Warehouse.

Main Street Closeouts is only open to the public on the weekends (including Friday afternoon), so we spend the week replenishing the racks from the prior weekend’s sale. The first women through the door on Friday afternoon get the first chance view the new inventory.
